The flagship of the First Sea Lord, HMS Victory, is a naval museum visited by over 500,000 visitors per year.
The requirement was to design a bespoke workshop, which provided staff with a better understanding of crowd management whilst conforming to legislative requirements and Ministry of Defence restrictions.
The workshop was designed to be specific to the issues the team faced. We provided a blend of practical demonstration, underpinned by theory and a clear explanation of the underlying causation of crowd issues and how these could be mitigated against. It is now the intention to raise the annual visitors to circa 1 million visitors per year.
